Writing & Submissions
At Dog Days Press, we anticipate several collaborative writing initiatives in 2013.
They include the following:
hoi polloi – A Literary Journal for the Rest of Us
We are currently accepting submissions for the next issue of our signature publication dedicated to charitable endeavors.
Writers Workshop
Plans are being developed for a community writing initiative that will include writing workshops with an associated collaborative publication. There will be an emphasis on memoir writing in association with the community Life Long Learning program.
Student Journal – Shade Tree Reader
A writing program will be announced for student authors. Details will be forthcoming. This program will encourage the creative literary and artistic pursuits. It is anticipated that this will be promoted as a Summer Enrichment project with a December, 2013 target publishing deadline
Publishing Questions & Opportunities
Do you have a book idea or publishing project and you don't know where to start? We may not have all the answers but you are welcome to send us your questions.
